In accordance with its Public Involvement Policy, the Cabarrus-Rowan Metropolitan Planning Organization (CR MPO), hereby announces the opening of a 30 day public comment period for the Draft 2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and the associated Conformity Analysis and Determination Report. The public comment period will open beginning Monday, February 9, 2026. The MTP is a listing of all funded transportation projects scheduled for implementation within the CR MPO area over the next 30 years. The Metropolitan TIP must be a subset of the MTP and both must be financially constrained.
