The Cabarrus Rowan MPO

Thank you for visiting the Cabarrus Rowan Metropolitan Planning Organization (CRMPO) website! The CRMPO is the designated planning agency for all transportation projects in Cabarrus and Rowan counties. We will post many of our current transportation items for your review and information.

The next meeting of the CABARRUS-ROWAN TCC will be held on March 21, 2012 at noon at Concord Fire Station #9. The next meeting of the CABARRUS-ROWAN TAC will be held on March 28, 2012 at 5:30 PM at Concord Fire Station #9. A meeting agenda will be available upon request.

The CRMPO has published for public review the Draft Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) Index, which is a locally developed vision for highway improvement projects in Cabarrus and Rowan counties and replaces existing NCDOT Thoroughfare Plans and Appendices. In addition, the MPO has published the Draft Goals and Objectives for the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), which is a multi-modal plan developed in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations.
